RemoteGigs is an independent job board for remote freelance, contract, and project-based work.
Why we exist
Most job boards were built for full-time employment and treat flexible work as an afterthought. Independent workers end up sorting through unsuitable roles, vague pay, and listings that say remote but mean three specific countries. RemoteGigs starts from the other direction: the worker states how they want to work, and every listing is read against those terms.
What we believe
- Clarity beats volume. A short feed of explained matches is worth more than a thousand unfiltered listings.
- Terms belong up front. Pay, engagement type, location eligibility, and schedule expectations are stated on every listing, or the gap is flagged.
- AI explains, people decide. Matching supports human judgment on both sides. It never auto-rejects a candidate and never invents qualifications.
- No false promises. We do not guarantee work, earnings, or perfect matches, and our review badges describe checks, not guarantees.
How we make money
Workers use RemoteGigs for free. Employers pay to publish listings. Review badges cannot be bought, and paying employers receive no preferential treatment in review.
