Privacy policy
Plain-language version. The formal policy with provider details is published before launch; this page already reflects how the product actually behaves.
What we collect
Account details (email, password), profile information you choose to provide (headline, skills, experience, preferences, rate, availability, location and time zone), applications and messages you send, and technical data needed to run the service. We do not collect sensitive personal details that are not needed for matching, and we never use or infer protected characteristics for matching.
How AI is used
AI helps interpret job descriptions and profiles to explain relevant matches, and can help you improve wording you wrote. It never invents skills, credentials, or experience. Private resumes and applications are never used to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.
Who sees your information
Your profile is visible to you by default. When you apply, the employer receives a snapshot of your application. Employer discovery is a separate opt-in with controls over which fields are visible. Resumes, contact details, and application files are never exposed through public links.
Notifications and marketing
Application status updates are essential messages and are kept separate from marketing. Job alerts follow your chosen frequency (instant, daily, weekly, or none) and every email includes pause and unsubscribe controls.
External service providers
We use a small number of providers for hosting, email delivery, and AI processing. A current list is maintained here before launch, and each provider is bound by data-processing terms.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and profile at any time from settings. Deletion removes your profile, applications, and files; records we must keep for legal or moderation reasons are retained for a defined period and then destroyed. Backups cycle out within 30 days.
Your controls
Pause matching, change availability, update preferences, opt in or out of discovery, choose alert frequency, correct any inaccurate information about you, and delete your account, all from settings, at any time.
